Hive Music Festival, Week115, Round 1
I am @wizj
It's been quite a while I function on Hive generally. But, I am here again.
For this week's round of event, I will present with my Saxophone one of Christmas' songs titled "THE FIRST NOEL", the version of CARRIE UNDERWOOD.
This seasons is full of hopes and love. Rejoining with family, sharing experiences of far away home. Meeting friends and sharing love.
The First NOEL song is a popular Christmas song that has a Cornish origin. Known first as NOWELL but however, gotten a French name as *NOÉL to mean CHRSITMAS.
It's current form was published in carols Ancient and Modern (1823) and Gilbert and Sandys Carols (1833)
The lyrics depicts extremely deep Christmas hope and joy as the Savior Jesus is born, the King of Israel. The angels first sang about him, then directed the three wise men (the Maggi) to the new born King at Bethlehem. They adored and worshiped him and presented him with gifts; to show appreciation to God for the gift of his only Son to us.
LYRICS:
The first Noel
the angels did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east, beyond them far
And to the earth it gave great light
And so it continued both day and night
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel
Born is the King of Israel.
Wishing you the very best of this season's celebration.
Merry Christmas to you all with love💗
Thank you for stopping by and see you again.
