Warm greetings Hive community! I’m thrilled to join you once again for the Hive Open Mic Week 195 by showcasing an uplifting gospel favorite that deeply moves me - “Jesus You Are So Good To Me” performed by artist Tim Goffery.
As soon as the lively piano and Tim’s smooth vocals come in praising God’s blessings over horn-accented production, I instantly feel joy arising in my spirit! Having the privilege to amplify Tim’s worshipful music here brings me immense gratitude.
I connected with this song years back during a challenging period feeling overwhelmed, less than and uncertain of better days arriving. My mind was clouded by disempowering narratives that maybe being stuck in lack or pain was just my plight.
But then I heard Tim passionately sing this song ,What beautiful reminders echoed through each line that no matter what storms rage externally, our Source consistently provides refuge and redemption inside unconditionally!
I know many here today can relate to seasons which almost defeated inner light and quenched once fiery purpose. Whether financial setbacks, lost relationships, health turmoil or other vehicles testing faith, the storms appeared ruthlessly to steal peace.
Yet coming back to Tim’s song lifted clouded perspectives to see truth once more. No pit lasts perpetual; light still glows awaiting rediscovery. God toujours faithful even when faulty human wisdom cannot trace His hand.
I believe this song carries such timely reminders for us all in this community to gaze deeper beyond surface unrest towards the gifts and compass God provides inwardly. We must nurture seeds even whilst awaiting manifestation so harvest bears lasting fruit.
I hope you enjoy listening to my version of this song and hope you key into the lyrics.
THANKS FOR WATCHING
