Hahahaaa funny thing is, I was thinking the same thing a few days ago, but then for me. I also have some old sneakers that almost fall apart and I knew they wouldn't survive the hike, so I took my newer shoes with me. So I thought "what if I took the old ones with me, I had to have a spare?" ๐Ÿ˜…

                          Hahahaha, @rarej had to carry a bottle of Cola mixed with water from a friend, who offered to help carry the bag because of the extra weight. That extra bottle came in handy when we needed some extra energy ๐Ÿ˜‚.
