Hello everyone, welcome to our weekly concert in the Hive open mic community. I trust we all are doing okay. In line with this week's theme "Traditional music" as selected by recent spotlight artiste @ernesto6402, I'd be performing a worship song in my native dialect (Yoruba) called "Oluwa É Tobi". Oluwa É Tobi in English means God is the greatest, the biggest. I really don't know who the originator of this song is, as it's a popular worship song which I learnt in church growing up here in Nigeria. I'm sure most of my Nigerian counterparts would know this song. I have chosen to perform this song as it's a traditional music, sang in my native tongue (Yoruba) and it's one that I really love and connect with. The song talks about the sovereignty of God in the affairs of men, there's none to be compared to Him, no greater person in this world than our God. It's a song of adoration and adulation to God, for being Who He is, for making a way and keeping us safe. The song may have different meanings to different people, all depends on how we see it. It could also be a song of thanksgiving to God for all He has done in our lives because this God is too good no matter the circumstances we face, it still doesn't change the fact that God is good. He makes things beautiful in His own time, all we can do is believe in Him and trust Him for He's a great God 💪. I do hope you all enjoy 🎧 my cover of this worship song, enjoy the rest of your week 🥂.

NB: This song has different versions by various gospel artists, so it won't be the totally the same as mine.
