It's quite late to share, but I was so cheerful to share that my little one made it halfway! Yes. Last December 13, he turns six months! Truly, babies grow fast, and we should make use of the time as night changes quickly. Reminiscing the past months, I couldn't believe I had survived. Yet, it was the unconditional love that fueled me entirely!
As usual, I prepared a DIY photoshoot and was expecting it would be easier now. I just thought it was completely the opposite.
Caleb is now in the grabbing stage, and he grasps anything within his reach. That is why I don't use blankets and move light pillows in our beds to avoid accidents. His grip is so strong that, as an adult, I sometimes question my strength.
Just like this. I could take a decent photo of him as he was busy snatching the letterboard.
Eventually, I gave up as we needed to go into my sister-in-law's house. Though at least I had a few photos of him that day. ( I am planning to create a video of it throughout the year.)

Yep, he would every time I put my phone camera steadily into him.
And he is too big for his stroller, yet we have no plan of buying another one. Perhaps a walker or playpen would be better. We seldom go out, so this is almost new, usually just parked in a corner.
Now that he is six months, what are his milestones?
- Grabbing stage, as I mentioned previously. This is one time that I was eating a wafer. Believe me, that made me caught off-guard when he suddenly snatched it!
- Recognize his name Every time someone called his name, he turned around. Smile if he is in a good mood or stare if he sees an unfamiliar face.
- He Definitely knew I was his Mom. Have you experienced being watched? Yeah, that was it. It felt as if he would always follow his gaze at me, like a ninja who did not want to be left behind.
He could stand as long as assisted. He has Strong knees, but not too strong! He easily got tired and wanted to sit.
Rolling over not only on his tummy but vice versa. Sometimes, as we sleep, I can find him on the other side of the bed. If we don't have a bed fence, he will definitely fall down already.
And many more.
Every baby is different, and they grow in their unique way. Still, I checked if my baby's milestone was his age. I felt relief knowing he was; I can confidently say he is growing healthy.
