Today, i will be participating in the afritunes contest week 118 by singing my own version of Young John song titled "Aquafina".
I have loved Young John since he was a producer for a Nigerian artiste "olamide in his record label "Y.B.N.L" .
He has been singing for a long time as a per time producer and artiste but he recently went global after his hit single "Xtra cool" who gained alot of streams.
I chose this song because he is an artiste i love listening to , and the message he passed about him been hurt by his lover. “Most nights I’m lonely baby, you don’t even notice,” he sings. Elsewhere, he provides that his babe never checks up on him to know when he is lonely . “We cannot do this every time oh/This love not anybody concern/Why do we argue every night oh/When you know say I love you kpa.” His frustrations was of the fact that the opinions of outsiders have threatened the stability of his relationship.
Again he said "Eventually if you don't love me again/you should just tell me like this. He was expressing himself to his lover to just tell him if she is fed up of the relationship instead of keeping him in the dark and not checking upon on him.
