Hello Hive Afritunes week #97, my name is @jesus-son and here I bring you my participation for the week. I Hope that you enjoy this presentation. Thanks for coming around.
Sometimes I want to do a particular music in the exact way it is done and sometimes I feel like 'refurbishing' it to my own taste and it often come out in the way I would love it. This in no way suggest that the way the original author had performed the song is not amazing but it is a matter of dynamism and of course again, the mood of the person at the given time.
In Nigeria, there are a lot of musics of this kind. That is, songs that were performed by someone but another person does it in another style and you see people who had the original copy still buying the new refurbished copy, hehe. If you ask me the reason I will say its a matter of taste and mood.
Well, I got into one of those my off moods, hehe and after listening to this beautiful song by my oga Nathaniel Bassey titled "Jesus Iye", eventhough everything about the song got me crazy and put me in a situation of endless joy expressed in dancing and shouting I could only think and feel like doing it in a different way, 🙄😄, walahi, if you ask me why, I fit no tell you because even me sef no know, haha.
So dear friends, I got inspired and I decided to do what I have to do, hehe. The main point is that, I enjoyed myself to the extent that after I had finished, I saw some neighbors waiting to ask me, 'Oga! Wetin happen, you win lotto? Lolz, "well, I feel its the goodness of the Lord to me", that was what I told them. Meeen! I was overjoyed.
This song speaks of the goodness of God. How He saves us in the most critical situations of our lives and blesses us too. Bassey, is indeed a god in music and I Loooove him. I hope that you enjoy this version of mine dear friends. God bless you for coming around.
