I m always delighted to sing African songs and to have a family to share such songs with. AFRITUNES week 88 presents me with the opportunity to share this internet breaking Hausa Gospel song titled HASKE by KAESTRINGS. A prolific song writer who has done many Gospel songs that has cut across the northern and the ven the southern parts of Nigeria, spreading the Gospel of Jesus.

I later found out that HASKE meant light and the songs means that Jesus is the Light and I will follow.

Such a power message to the world.

I m sharing it here not to show my Hausa prowess, I don't have any as such, I had to learn the song and the language of it. Playing the guitar, that one came easy but not the words, I had tried over and over to get it right till the last.

My favourite part was at the end where I added my bit of meeeeeness into it. Repeating the melody ya Yeah Kaine ..HASKE na .. haha.
