One of the best things about Negril is the local roadside eateries. Theyโre everywhere you look and most of the time these guys are cooking it fresh on the spot. Thatโs what you want to look for if youโre going to eat street meat. The last thing you want to do is stop at a roadside shop and order jerk thatโs been laying there for hours on end.
Smoky Joeโs, in front of Grand Pineapple Hotel located in Negril, is a fantastic street food vendor. Heโs cooking fresh on the spot and Smoky Joe welcomes customers to stay and watch as he cooks to perfection.

Smoky Joeโs has been around for awhile and is a well-renowned street food vendor of Negril. He cooks out of a large steel drum making it even more authentic than using a commercialized grill. These guys are all over the place, but Smoky is the guy!
