Hello friends of the afritunes community, my name is @jesus-son and I welcome you all to my blog on this occasion of the afritunes week 161. It's my pleasure to share with you my interpretation for the week. I hope that you would love it.
I present a song that reflects about the Holy spirit. It is a song in the Yoruba Language that simply means an invitation to the Holy Spirit to come and take control.
I see it as a song that is very apt for the situation of the world at large and particularly for the situation pf my dear country Nigeria. Everyday it seems that life gets harder and har
der and even the more especially for the poor masses.
I keep praying that one day, things will get better and people could live happily and not in fear and agony. It's just too pathetic how lives are lost to terrorism and all sorts of things.
I made something special here. I used a beat that can't be found in my piano and so had to make a beat by myself. I improvised using the pieces of my recorder to provide the timer sound and then the local shekere to add to its melody.
This beat is very particular to so many Yoruba songs. I like that slow steady and calm pattern that some of the Yoruba songs are characterized with.
Infact this is one of the reasons why I love Yorub songs alot. Dear friends, this is music to be enjoyed and inspired with and also to pray.
Therefore join me to enjoy and to pray to the Divine Spirit to come and take charge of the situations of our lives.
I thank you for coming around and for leaving your kind supports. God bless you plenty. Ciao Caio!!!
