It's true that when taking care of others and in this case your family, you should also make time for yourself. When we went swimming with our parents when we were younger, my dad stayed with us for a while and when it was almost time to leave he would swim some rounds himself.

Those two songs are very deep, especially Black Carbon and Back to Normal is something that's really going through everyone's mind. I do hope we'll be better off and stronger when coming out of this, although I also know that the Rona will not be gone. We'll just learn to adjust and hopefully be more immune to it and stronger.

Have a blessed weekend! 😊

You know , I think especially men need that me time. Woman tend to sacrifice their time more for their kids, family and friends. But indeed , you gotta take care of yourself in order to take care of others and taking care of your health will ensure that you around to to that... hopefully.

Yeah man especially that carbon song. Never heard a song so scientific but full of melody! Only reggae 😂! And on the other side of that we have daggering 😆
Enjoy your week empress! More blessings more life!

Now that you've mentioned men and women, I remember when we used to still live at our parents, my mom's "me time" were Saturdays. She would go out every Saturday to (window) shop. Even if she didn't buy anything, she just needed to get out of the house and everyday after work she took an hour nap and when people called for her we had to ask them to call back later or she would call back. This of course doesn't include urgent matters.

But those are things I could take with me.
