Its a three day weekend here in Japan. I'm always look forward to these long weekends because I can spend more time relaxing with my family.
During the week we received a few seafood gifts from our generous neighbors and we decided to make a meal of the seafood items over the weekend. In this post I will give detailed explanation of how I prepared the lobster dish.
Deep Fried Lobster 🦞 with garlic butter and onions
Lobster Preparation
Step 1: Cut lobsters down the middle from head to tail.
Step 2: Wash and Clean lobster 🦞 with vinegar or 🍋.
Step 3: Season to your preference. I used salt and pepper allspice.
Step 4: Pour olive oil in frying pan and allow to heat. Place a crushed clove of garlic in the hot oil.
Step 5: Place lobsters in frying pan and fry until done. Lobster shells should turn red.
Step 6: Preparing Garlic butter Sauce: Chop two cloves of garlic into small pieces and place in foil paper. Add butter and chopped onion. Place foil in toaster oven or heat in the same frying pan.Cook until done.
Step 7: Wow so many steps. Ok the final step is the plating. Choose a plate big enough to hold the lobsters and garnish with orange or lemon slices. Place the lobsters on the plate then spoon the garlic butter sauce on the lobsters.

We had deep fried lobster with garlic butter sauce, escovitched fish, rice and peas, vegetable salad 🥗
