Hello Afritunes community and music lovers worldwide! It’s my first entry of the year so i guess it would be appropriate for me to wish everyone a Happy New Year and May 2024 be fruitful for us all. Haven’t said that; I will be making an original song this week, and yeah for those who didn’t know i’m an Afrobeat song writer and recording artiste (upcoming). So, for this week i decided to make an acapella of a song i released 23rd of December 2023, i titled it Hooray. Hooray is a cool love song that everyone can listen to and most especially couples because it’s a song they can enjoy be it on their anniversary and any other special loving occasions. Actually, one thing i’d like to do better this 2024 is make more original songs unlike 2023 that I followed trends of others hivers.
Fun fact about Hooray is that, I recorded it since early 2022 but decided to hold on the release because of other projects i got doing then which by the way I’d be sharing more of the projects (songs) as we go forward into the year 2024. I think it will be appropriate to share my inspiration behind Hooray right? So yeah, the inspiration came from Johnny Drille’s song which he featured Simi then and it was titled Halleluyah. I know some or most of us should remember that song because it trended when it was released back then in 2018 and somehow i got inspired by the song and came up with Hooray and like they used to say everything is now history.
