I hope you're having a great day, it's another time to celebrate, share and explore African music, one of the best kind of music. Yeah it's Afri-tunes week 98 and this week I'll be presenting a song titled "oba ton ja funmi" by Gbenga Akinfenwa.
The music minister is a Nigerian and a very lovely minister of the gospel, his songs are so beautiful and this one is one of my best songs.
Oba ton ja funmi in English means the king that's fighting for me.
Somehow this world is full of challenges, problems, battles but the truth is most of these things are beyond our capacity or ability and that's how and why we need God to stand in the gap for us.

For some of us, He has been the one defending us and making sure that all is well with us.
Anyone that God is supporting can't lose the battle no matter how hard the enemies try.
It's not that enemies are not waging war against us but our God is more than able to render their power powerless.
So I think it's best if one can appreciate the one that has been doing all this for us without collecting a dime, all He require from us is our thanksgiving and praise. He loves people that could give Him the praise He deserves and also a grateful soul.
