I'm samolaj writing in the Afri-tunes 148 the song ogechi remix Boypee, Hyce and brown Joel ft Davido. This song reminds me of the african tradition of marriage, it a typical african traditional way of of a groom getting married to the bride.
Looking at the start of the song, you will see the town crier announcing that grown up me should come to palace to come and pick their bride in which ogechi is one of them, so, on getting to the palace, one of the men found ogechi and profess his love to her.
Looking at the settings of the palace, you will see the indigenous African culture in place, where the king sat on his throne to coordinate the proceedings of the traditional marriage being put in place by the palace itself.
Also, one thing that inspired me in the video is how the man was professing his true love to the lady in question ogechi, telling her how much he loves her and how beautiful the lady, ogechi is and that he would love her forever. This and many more makes the song and the video more interesting and beautiful.
The beauty of the african culture of the south eastern Nigeria and their custom is another inspiration to me in the musical video. I so much love every about the video for it showcased the african beauty. And as we can see that black is beautiful. The video really portrayed the black as a beautiful culture and beautiful people.
