Afritunes week#126, for this week, I'll be doing a song by Good Girl LA, "Bless Me". I love this song and I think this is the second time I'm doing a cover of it hehe.
This is the only song I know from the artist, I don't know if she has other tracks, maybe she does, but I think she deserves an award for this song because it's just beautiful.
I remember the first time I heard this song, it was my elder brother who would play it every day and disturb everyone in the house with it, hahaha. Honestly, at some point, I got tired of it because tell me why I would listen to a song nonstop for days, hahaha (even tho I do that a lot 😂😂, you know it's different when it's someone else😂).
I was scrolling through one of my favorite apps today (YouTube) when I came across this song, so I'll be sharing it with you guys.
This song relates to every Nigerian because all we want is to live a better life. Things are so hard that people can barely feed, and the only person we are hoping for is God for a miracle and also for our hard work to pay.
You can be very hardworking and do your best only to get no result at the end of the day. So my prayer for every Nigerian is that God will bless your hustle and also lift you up to bless others Amen!! I hope you like my cover of this song.
