Hello Afri-tunes community!
It's another week and Merit is here once to share an African tune, I'm always happy to be able to share African music every week, it's fulfilling and fun.

So for this week, I decided to do the cover of the song "Obinasom", a song sang by Mercy Chinwo, a Nigerian gospel artist.
It's not a new song to many Nigerians who are fans of gospel songs like this but this is my first actually singing a song by this wonderful artist. I've listened to a lot of her songs but this one is my favourite for every reason it gives.
The song is an emotional song that tells of God's love and how it feels to be loved by Him. The sweet feeling, the smiles and as she said in her song, the butterflies in belly haha. I sang this song randomly while I was going about some activities and I thought I could actually do a small cover of it.
Obviously, it isn't as good as the original but I'm very glad I shared this cover. I felt really happy as I sang the song and considering that I haven't been feeling so good, it is a perfect song for me right now.
Here is the original song...
I hope you do enjoy my cover of the song as much as I did, and I look forward to sharing more African music. Special thanks to my supporters, those giving me corrections which helps to make my videos come out better and thanks for viewing!!!
