Hello Afri-tunes community!
It's another week and Merit is here once to share an African tune, I'm always happy to be able to share African music every week, it's fulfilling and fun.

So for this week, I decided to do the cover of the song "Aye Ole", a song sang by Helen Paul, a Comedian who decided to try music at one time, this song is my favourite from her.
Talk of a song that speaks the truth about how people treat people when they are down or in need of help, this song fits rightly. There may be people who haven't experienced this sad side of life but we do know there are more people who are.
People leaving when things are bad and coming back when things are good, it is a good enough reason to rely on God only as He is the only one who would stay in both times and help you get out of your bad times, Helen Paul emphasizes that in her song.
The song in both yoruba and English language with the latter being more so the song is quite understandable for anyone to listen. I've been singing this song for a long time now, couldn't even get the lyrics online so I had to learn it myself from listening very closely and the meaning felt deeper that way for me.
Here is the original song, still no lyrics on it.
I hope you do enjoy my cover of the song as much as I did, and I look forward to sharing more African music. Special thanks to my supporters, those giving me corrections which helps to make my videos come out better and thanks for viewing!!!
Song Lyrics
Nobody knows
What you are going through here
They never know oo
Cause they are far from you
When things go bad for you
Everybody go run away
Na only you dey for this world
And you're furthering never
All you need do brother
Is Gbagbo ni nu Olorun
Aye ole eh oh eh oh eh (3x)
Gbagbo ni nu Olorun eh eh Gbagbo ni nu Olorun
