Hello friends of the hive Afritunes community, my name is @jesus-son and I welcome you to my blog today on this occasion of the week 159 of our weekly musical events. It's my pleasure to bring to you my interpretation for this week hoping you would love it.

I love Nigerian local musics because they have a lot of dynamics that are quite intersting. Sometimes I wonder what the composers of these African musics had in mind in composing many of the songs.

One gets to examine these technicalities when one looks at their original scripts and see how the notes are arranged with every parts well represented.

Those days in the choir, it took days of practice to arrive at a perfection of a song before presenting it in the church or in a competition. Well, I feel that many of these composers are just very vast in their profession and do good works.

Said all, I relate to you what I have got for this week. It is the cover of one of the songs in Igala language.

The Igala language is one of the native languages in Nigeria, spoken by the people of Kogi state which is one of the northern states in Nigeria.

I love their language because for me it sounds so sweet to the ears. As a result, listening to their songs is one of my delightful doings.

The song I present to you here is titled "Awa L'ule Nyeogbede Ojo". Awa means greetings and Ojo means God. Literally, this song is a song of greeting to God. This is why we sing this during the begining of the church worship.

It is appropriate at that session of the church service because it kind of usher in the proceedings of thw worship for the day. Being that in the African culture, any meeting is introduced by greetings, therefore even the divine worship is justly introduced by greeting the divine being.

Dear friends, making this song made me recall old days of how we sang this song with almost every instrument including the trumpet, saxophone, guitar and the rest of it and it used to be awesome.

I make this and sharing with you with hope that it would inspire someone. Thanks for comimg around.
