Hi friends, Happy New Year once again. It's Afritune week 148. I want to perform the cover of the song titled 'Eji Owuro' (Love like a morning dew) by Shola Allyson. This song is a Yoruba song, and of course a love song. I just woke up this morning and started remembering one of the songs my husband used to sing for me while we were courting. This song goes a long way in sustaining our relationship into marriage and even keeps going in the marriage.
The song reminds of that true love is orchestrated by God and that when it is pure, no challenges, no overcome it. In the song a lover is telling his/her spouse to continue loving him/her wholeheartedly because they will be rich, fruitful, joyful and fulfill destiny together. The song boosts the faith of lovers to stay together even when there is nothing because there will be something soonest.
I'm however inspired to sing the song this morning because I see those prophecies of doing great together coming to realityand I can't but remember the song that strengthened and boosted her hope.
I hope you enjoy it.
