My musical elevation (Exodus)

What a form to trip and connect with the universe as I write. Even closer to the flower, speaking the language of the tree and the fish. I am in harmony with the elements in the scene of a spiritual nature, where I ask that nothing interrupt my ecstasy. When my ears are the mouth of a tunnel, far from harm, close to a truth.

To all delight, marking the rhythm with my hands in the endless mental melody, cadence of distant sounds created by the genius of Reggae, in his tune with Jah, Rastafari. Bob Marley, a great man, tells me part of his legacy and lets me see, he makes me live his flagrant struggle left in the sordid mixture of a declamation.

I know how, in his time, he played his guitar. In Semi-muted, mode with a light touch of the strings, arpeggiating the treble with the pick, as fine as metal wire. The bass and its complexity, defining deaf and decadent tones, deep, torchos coming from the bottom of a heart that cries out for peace, that seeks emancipation in the middle of a cotton field. The percussion, wind instruments, the drums, the synchrony of the keyboard in a paired key Sol-Do. Brilliant, in setback, creating revolutionary music capable of changing humanity and awakening the sleeping souls that have forgotten how to feel.

Thus the purest original feeling accompanies me and guides me, whispers in my ear while I write the new writing, with these letters, which are like suns, that scream, that speak what the spirit tired of wandering silences. They are edens and at the same time, deserts of melancholy, the roar of the Iron Lion heading for Zion. And it is repeated, the art of the slave and the oppressed, their voices like muses that, suspended in time, cannot be touched. They are his women seeking vindication, loving, willing to win. And they sing with the voice of an angel and the sky cries with its chorus of reflection, in unison, following the sunset fire and crossing the crest of the ocean to reach beyond their own reason.

From Jamaica to Angola, from Zimbabwe to Ethiopia, to the garages used as a recording studio in the seventies, saying, No !, to the industry, saying at the top of their lungs that they will never be able to shut him up. Recording without any resources or technology, singing over the sound of the instrumental. Because they are "Roots", the ones that speak, they are the sap of a whole continent running through the veins and bled in the form of a song. It is Africa united, the birth of the king of kings in the land in labor without borders that no one dares to tread. With this tongue that cannot be cut, this skin with the mark of cain and the thirsty mouth of the nomad. They are the origins speaking the language of the gods in the middle of the room. Sonata of all times, that is how I feel it and that is how I have wanted to share it, with the permission of the teacher and the pen that he once had in his hand, writing verses leaning on the body of his Gibson Lespold, pine color, and his gaze insinuating, lost among crowds that hail her name.

I see him among my collection of old acetates, ancient as relics, his face and his troubadour lips appear.

I try to choose between: Legend, Burnin 'or Satisfy my soul; Without stopping to think about the magnificent Catch a fire, Natty Dread and Rastaman Vibration that left me so much. I remember the first time, when I listened to “Four hundred years”, I thought that the holograms of those fallen heroes were coming out of my amplifier, I felt that their message was like an amalgam that was fixed in my mind and my heart. The songs: Concrete Jungle, No more trouble, Forever Loving Jah, are pieces, outlines for meditation and to leave the body.

But in life you have to make decisions, even if much is left aside. Finally, I had to decide on a selection: "Exodus", for this occasion, is the song behind the image. I'm going to delight in his gasp, repetitive tone that explains everything. Unleashing the passion for this captivating musical style that has inspired me to write half the chapters of my life, without having any expiration date.

I refer to the lyric segment:

"Exodus: Movement of Jah people! Oh-oh-oh, yea-eah!
Men and people will fight ya down (Tell me why!)
When ya see Jah light. (Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!)
Let me tell you if you're not wrong; (Then, why?)
Everything is all right.
So we gonna walk - all right! - through de roads of creation:
We the generation (Tell me why!)
(Trod through great tribulation) trod through great tribulation".

Exodus, Bob Marley

"A song with a spiritual connotation and a broad religious sense. Related in some biblical characters and facts mentioned in the sacred scripture."

I'm sure it must mean much more than what was said in this modest quote. In the case of the wealthy thought of author Bob Marley, who in his deep neck lyric left room for predestination.

I hope you can enjoy the video and the powerful sound of the song behind the image. #APART A Picture & A Reggae Tune.

"creating revolutionary music capable of changing humanity and awakening the sleeping souls that have forgotten how to feel."

Hello @nachomolina
It has been some time since I read your lines, which are undoubtedly deeply poetic.
This phrase denotes one of the great achievements of reggae music, at least for me.
And what more than art expressed in lyrics and harmonies to awaken souls and consciousness?
Great writing
