I got some roof damage from hurricane Beryl. Also trees rooted out of the ground and fell down.
Power n water has been back for a few weeks now but no WIFI and no land line telephone. The company said the fibre cables have suffered damages. However they said they are working to restore as soon as possible
I am picking up the pieces slowly.
Life is come coming back slowly to normal. This weekend is the big annual summer party. It is held every year during the Emancipation/Independence national holiday celebrations. It is branded Dream Week End. It is about fifteen (15) years old. It generally lasted for about a week (5 to 7) days. Negril welcome thousands of visitors mainly Jamaicans but other young visitors from all over the world to this party. These party are held over the years day and night. Patrons can hop from party to party if they so choose.

All these parties are for the seven mile stretch. There will be lots of beach activities to complement the parties. Other features are sound systems, many Jamaican n foreign superstars. If they are not performing they will be enjoying themselves in the parties or on the white sand beaches. If Usain Bolt is not in Paris at the Olympics chances are you could meet him in one of these parties or just taking in the atmosphere by just hanging out on the beach.
