I like how you gave a little history lesson along with the scenery. Had no idea the US was in Suriname with canons fending off Germans during world war 2. Had a little idea about the "slavery of the Hindus in the region but not in such detail. Loving that black and white photo where you are in color, that should have been the cover photo. 😉

        Yeah, I myself don't know all the history too. It's a lot and it always breaks my heart to know what our great grandparents had to endure.
