It is not doubt that some city's do not have good Infrastructure, and travelling along those places, what you are going to experienced would not just be a minor traffic on the road, but something higher than congestion that can make you stay inside a car for many hours.
sometimes you see passengers who enter a public vehicle or tricycle, coming down from it and prefer to walk with their legs to their destinations.
worst of it is, in this rainy season, any road that is not good, what you are going to see is too much muds, all over the place, caused by rains.
Also, people pay double of their transport fare to their certain destinations, as the motorist may purposely increase the price of transport fare in places like this, at times, I think about how the people who works till 8 PM manage to get home, because, it's mandatory that they must to pay additional of what they used to.
Along Eleme road in Rivers state, if the rain falls, the roads always get crowded with big trucks and sometimes, maybe, going back to the house, it is very difficult to see a vehicle that is going towards that way.
Then if you manage to see a vehicle, just expect that you are going to pay that transport fare as if you are paying for five people.
Mostly, what makes places not to have good Infrastructure are lack of maintenance of the already built structures or poor planning before built.
When I was doing my youth service, I mostly admire some places I came across in the Eastern part, where some roads are made only for private vehicles, and on these roads, a kind of iron were built, crossing on the road and shaping it so that cars that are tall can not pass through those places.
I see the idea as a very good thing and it is something done to avoid traffic, thereafter roads should not be one lane, because in this kinds of road, it is difficult when two cars are passing by.
At least, road should be two lanes, when it is made this way, there will be free flow of activities and then traffic will be reduced.
I can not even talked about light, in where I stay, any day I see lights, I consider that day as christmas, how I keep my gadgets charge is to start a generator and the price of fuel is at the high side, light do not come so often, and people's used generator here and there also, sometimes, I used to spent a day or two outside my area so that to be away from the noise of a generator.
Yet, infrastructure are essential in human's life, going to places where all this infrastructure are not provided, you will still see people living there and be happy with their life's, but it is hard for a person who have stayed in where it was provided adequately, this person with this new experience will not be happy untill after some times, he will begins to adapt to the environment.
