We are now in Week 54 of the Praise and Worship Music Community on Hive, and an incredible topic was suggested by one of the amazing artists @stefy.music husband @daniel2001: “God’s Time.” We are to explore this topic and relate it to our performances.
DESIGN WITH CANVA
For this week’s topic, I will sing a song cover titled “My Helper,” originally sung by Paul Nwokocha. This song is an old one, but I truly love it. It holds so much meaning and aligns beautifully with the theme of God’s Time.
At all times, God has been there for me. I do not have a specific "timing" for God because everything I am and I have belongs to Him, my time, my resources, my entire being. Every moment in my life is God's time. Whether in good times or challenging times, it is all in His hands.
There are moments in my life when I feel like giving up, thinking that God is not always on time. But even in those hard times, God is still present. He is working things out for our good.
That’s why I chose to sing this song because God has been my helper. From the moment I was in my mother's womb, He knew me. He took His time to create me, and even when I entered this world thinking the challenges might consume me, God was always there for me. What a loving Father He is, He is always on time, and He never makes a mistake.
The Bible is filled with stories that amaze me, and they all reveal God’s glory. One story that has taught me lifelong lessons is the account of Job. Job lost everything he had, yet God restored all that the enemy had stolen and even more. This is one reason why I do not worry too much about tomorrow because I know that God has my back. I am backed by Him, so I do not fear what the future holds.
When it comes to time, we should never allow our circumstances to dictate when God will come through for us. God is always present and working, even when we cannot see it. Let’s trust Him fully and give our all to Him.
