It has been a while since I posted in the Vibes Community, but I plan to be more consistent this year. This week marks Week 27 of the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, and I will be singing a cover of the song {Rahama} meaning (Mercy) by Kaestrings. Kaestrings is one of my favorite gospel artists here in Nigeria. He hails from the northern part of the country and is a talented gospel singer, a gifted songwriter, and an amazing guitarist.
DESIGN WITH CANVA
I chose this song because of its profound meaning to me and the body of Christ, to be specific the church. I’ve realized that everyone needs God’s mercy. It’s not always because of sin, but there are moments in life when nothing, be it money, friends, or family, can provide the solution we need. In those moments, God's mercy becomes our only answer. We simply need to turn to Him in prayer because He is a loving Father.
I love this song so much because it reminds me that I truly have no one on earth like God. Since I embraced that truth, God has been there for me, connecting me to people I never imagined meeting. But it all started with me connecting to Him and surrendering to His will. In God’s kingdom, He has the power to lift a nobody to greatness without needing anyone’s approval. That is one of the many reasons I love Him so deeply.
I sang this song as a testimony to His mercies in my life, my family, my friends, and everyone connected to me, and also as a message to the entire world. God’s greatest act of mercy was sending His only Son to die for our sins so that we might be reconciled to Him and have eternal life.
So, I want to encourage everyone, no matter what you’ve been through, just come to Jesus. He can heal you and help you.
