Hello, beautiful hivers!
Finally, my long overdue first entry for the vibes web3 music competition comes to life, I'm glad to have made it to week 3, it's been an amazing moment watching every singer pour in their beautiful entries, rhythm, and soul into it, I guess it's time for me to leave warming the bench and grab the mic too, which I'm also excited about.
I want to use this medium to send a huge shootout to @lordbutterfly for making the vibes community a reality bringing singers from all around the world, to express their art and also showcasing the beauty of web3, I feel like I'm in an actual concert when I'm the vibes community, thank you for all you do.
My chosen song for this week's entry is "Knock you down" by Keri Hillson, I decided to do the cover of this song because it was one of the first few songs that developed my interest for music, the rhythm captivating my heart the first time I heard it played also the lyrics, even when I knew nothing about the type of love she sang about then, it gave me a different interpretation, that no matter how hard life knocks you down, make sure to get back up because you are strong, isn't that the beauty of music, it speaks to every soul and brings much satisfaction to the listener.
