Early this morning I woke to the smell of burning! So I went outside into our back garden to investigate the source of the smell. I immediately noticed that the sky looked strange, with very dark areas that were similar to smog. While other parts of the sky were red and grey in colour.
I took the photo (below) and went back indoors to Google local news for any information for the cause of this weirdness. From what I could find out earlier, it was a Woodland Fire at "Bisley Ranges" in Surrey, England. The fire apparently started late last night, and Firefighters have been working most of the night (and Today) to extinguish the blaze.
Quite a major fire incident for my local area of Surrey, UK π₯
