No amount of suffering is good for a man

I have seen people who were not able to boast of a square meal a day and on any day they were able to meet this target, it will be a joyful thing in their family.

This i am talking about is not even now that things are ruff in so many household in Nigeria, I am referring to 17 years ago, but I was so not aware then, as i didn't understand what those people were going through, some drops out of school and didn't continue secondary education.

But what surprise me is that, in the society, neighbors at times will fully understand what he/her neighbor is going through and will not still want to help, all in the name of civilization and that they should not interfere in another person's family affair.

I remember quite well some of those people got involved in doing hard jobs that was so much on them, just because they wanted to survive and assist their family.

But, today, I can say that anything in this life works vis versa, the life they lived has shape their mindsets up to the point of letting them forget about their education.

Then later on, few of them learned skilled and the truth now is that, with the current economy situation of Nigeria, those with handwork are on the higher side, because little eyes are looking at if he/she is a graduate when it comes to employment.

The question now is, "what can you do, can you operate this machines or built this hall with this quotation, if given you this contract ?". The lane they took becomes better now and others who were being pamper like egg through the good paid occupations of their parents are now falling back to learning craft, because that's what employer are mostly after now.

Few days ago, i came across someone i know and talking of going through hardship, I can attest he has been there, because the family he came from, things were very tough, but today, he sailed through as a craft man and he is working with a company, according to him, he got the work through his handwork and not because of papers.

He told me he is now in school and he is going to year three in his studies by next year, he could not be in school because his family were going through so much financial challenges, but today, he can boldly assist himself because he is working and they are paying him, to cut it short, I was so happy for him.

He revised me to those days, when they was no money in their family, it used to affect them so much, especially him, because he would be rolling his mind on a lot of things and any of those he was thinking about were not helping his life.

But today is a happy man because he doesn't worry about minor challenges like it was in the past.
