LESSONS FROM MY PARENT

If and when I raise children, I'll never... Share what your dream child-raising would never include, whether you have kids now or not. If you're living the dream already, still share with us.

How well a child is brought up in most cases determine the nature of his or her adulthood. If a child is well brought up, it is most likely the case that his or her feature is assured. As a child, I had an amazing upbringing and that really had lots of effects on my present life. Though my parents were amazing, but they've got their mistakes too. Having learnt from both their strength and faults, I believe I will make a wonderful parent.

As a person, I am of the opinion that there is nothing like a perfect parent; that not withstanding, there are things I believe a good parent will never do. I have never been a parent, but I believe that children are delicate. So delicate that a little mistake can brake them for life. If it be the case then that these mistakes are avoidable, a parent should do all that is in his/her power to avert them.ei_1704442721413-removebg-preview.png
If I finally become a parent, the first thing I will never do is to unnecessary punish my children. The fact that decipline is crucial to the upbringing of child is given, but we must not shy away from the effects of unnecessary heavy punishment on children. If I be a parent tomorrow, I will never punish my child beyond decipline. Maintaining balance is probably the most difficult thing a person can do, but if one must be a good parent he or she must learn to strike a balance. A parent must be emotionally sound, that will allow him or her realise when punishment could no longer be deplain. Once a parent is heavily controlled by emotion, it alter's his or her judgement, and it will be implications affect the upbringing of his or her children.ei_1704442721413-removebg-preview.png Another thing I will never do as a parent is to deny my children the presence of their parents. The quest for daily bread in most cases causes parents to not pay attention to needs of their children. By needs, I do not mean things money can buy, I am making reference to needs that can only be provided through availability. Now, it is not all about how much time you spend with your children, it is about how much attention you give them. Children due their nature demands attention from their parent. They demand one and one discussions with their parents, they demand playing and praying with them, they demand advice from their parent, and most importantly, they demand friendship with their parents. In many cases, parents tend to see financial need as the most crucial need of their children, and that's the problem. ei_1704442721413-removebg-preview.png Once again, I do not believe that their is anything like a perfect parent, but one can always be a great parent to his children and that's all that matters. If I become a parent, I will do all that is in my power to be the best Dad ever. I do not know if I will archive that, but I will try. I will try so hard. I am @ernesto6402 and I appreciate you for reading up to the end. One Love ✌️.
