HIVE OPEN MIC WEEK 247 PIANO COVER >>WHEN I REMEMBER<< BY @OLUTHOMAS
Hive Open Mic community and Hive family, hello. Welcome to my blog, I consider it an honor and a joy to be a part of this community and to be participating in week 247 of the Hive Open Mic community.
The theme for the Hive Open Mic community's 247th week is nostalgy, and from what little research I did, I learned that nostalgy is essentially the desire to have what you once had or to wish that something that was once a part of you could be yours again.
I will be performing a piano 🎹 version of the song "When I Remember" by South African gospel singer Min. Ntokozo Mbambo in relation to our topic of discussion (Nostalgy). This song had personal significance for me, which is why I performed it. The song is divided into two parts: she declares that she will never return to her former life if she remember what the Lord has done because of things that happened in the past that remind her of it, and she mentions a place or activity she used to do that no one can reveal that she is unable to return to. She is on the upbeat side of nostalgy since she has a darker side as well. From my point of view
There are moments in life when you realize how amazing God is once you look at where He brought you from and where you are at right now. God is faithful.
I sincerely hope you appreciate my entry as you watch and listen, and feel free to leave a comment or make corrections as needed. Thank you, family.
