Hello musicians! Welcome to HiveOpenmic Week 214. I am @mhizerbee. This week's theme is "Take me home" and in regards to that, I decided to present an Afrobeat and Nigerian Pop Music.
My presentation is by a known artist P-square and it is entitled No one like you I know my fellow Nigerians will be conversant with this song.
Why I chose to do a secular song and an afrobeat this week is that the song evokes themes of "homecoming, longing and nostalgia"
The song I have just presented is unavoidably a love song which is expressed by two partners. Love is a beautiful thing indeed.
It emphasizes on need for companionship and oneness. It sees one's partner or people in love as being his/her home.
Home is peace and love so therefore, people in love tend to express how they feel to each other because with them they're at peace and they're home.
There, you'll find devotion, tranquility, harmony, love, faithfulness and every other good thing you could think of.
