Hive open mic 218 // Great nation version

Hello everyone!

Happy Democracy Day Nigerians.

Today I will be participating in Hive open Mic week 218 theme "Heroism" by singing cover of Timi dakolo "Great nation".

Great nation is a song that implies that we Nigerians hope Nigeria will be great someday. I chose this song because today is democracy day in Nigeria and the recent situation in Nigeria has been outrageous, alot of people are finding it hard to survive and the country is now more harsh to live in.

The lyrics " We're all we have
We'll defend our land
We believe in this nation" implies that we Nigerians have to come together and help each other in this difficult time as we are all we have.

Recently, the Nigerian national anthem has been reversed back to the former one but i think this great song by dakolo should have made the national anthem instead.

I added the last part "I know we will shine like the sun someday " . I know it might take long time but I believe and hope this country will be great and be a better place someday.

Thanks for the warm welcome sir . I would try to put the profile picture actually i have tried putting it through inleo but it is not working but i will try using ecency
