This song was written to raise money during the famine that occurred in Africa.During the famine, lots of lives were lost, people were trying to save their own life.
The song emphasized on unity among the people around the world. It is a song with great lyrics, words used in the song are simple and quite understandable.
In this song, I see that there is power in togetherness there is this saying that "Divided we fall but together we stand" I see no reason why we should be discriminating others. No matter where we come from, no matter our religion we are one let us live and support each other.
