Hive Openmic Community week #205, it's your girl @adyma and I welcome you all to this new week. For the week I will be doing a song titled "Imela"

Imela is an Igbo word meaning "thank you". Imela is a song performed by Nathaniel Bassey ft Enitan Adaba. I just love the part sang by Enitan her voice is so amazing and the part that Nathaniel Bassey blow's his trumpet.

I see this song as a song of Thanksgiving, we have many reasons to thank God, no matter what your religious beliefs may be.
You can thank God for the gift of life itself, and for the opportunity to experience the world and all of its beauty.

You can thank God for the people in your life, whether they are family, friends, or even strangers who have shown you kindness or support.
You can thank God for the challenges and difficulties that you have faced, because they have helped you to grow and become a stronger person.
You can thank God for the good things that have happened to you

So I want you all to join as we thank God.

Song lyrics

When I think upon Your goodness
And Your faithfulness each day
I'm convinced it's not because I am worthy
To receive the kind of love that You give
But I'm grateful for Your mercy
And I'm grateful for Your grace
And because of how You've poured out your Yourself
I have come to sing this song out in praise
