Hi everyone, hive open mic community and loving hivers. I hope everyone is doing great, and once again, welcome to my blog. I'm Oluthomas, and I'm honored to be referred to as God's child. What an honor and privilege it is to have God's love!
The Hive Open Mic weekly performance's 242th week topic was "The Color of my Soul." In keeping with the theme, I'll be performing a piano version of the song "10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)" featuring Matt Redman. This particular song suddenly came to me when I sat down and thought back on the song I was going to use for this entry. Even though it may not be directly related to the theme, I am positive that the word "Soul" was a wonderful choice for me.
What is my soul's true color? Specifically, does our soul have any color, now that I think about it? The answer is no, but I believe that every soul has a color that he either discloses or wants; color draws the eye or makes something visible. I want to use my beloved Nigeria as an example. If you insult someone and they have been putting up with you without showing you who they really are, over time, if you keep hurting them, they will say something like, "Don't let me show you my true color."
The other aspect of a person that we are unaware of or that has not yet been made public is his hidden color, which could be either positive or negative. This is my viewpoint.
This song holds special meaning for me, which is why I chose it for this entry. My soul will praise the Lord's name every day; regardless of my circumstances, whether positive or negative, I will praise His name, which is the color of my soul.
