I write this as a wait in the car with two of my sons. They have fallen asleep. A little peace and quite to my 👂s. The wifey and the other son are doing grocery shopping, he is helping her by joining the long line to this discount store while she shops. I don’t have much time to make as much content as I used to, but I am content 😀!

For those who don’t know #DashOutSunday isn’t all about food, but it’s a major part of it. But I also like to share life! Something you can look back on and remember…….. life!

Let’s dive into the #DashOut
I took this pick of my friend’s wife while we were at the zoo on Saturday. I saw her sitting looking kinda in a tired daze, but I also saw a perfect frame 🖼 for a picture. And so I told her “hey, this is a nice shot” took my phone out and and she responded with a good pose.
At the zoo I didn’t take much pics as well.,, it’s the zoo, I’ve been there time and time again. But I did manage to put my phone camera lens way up pass the mesh fencing and got this shot of the flamingos. I think I’m getting better at photography.
The zoo also had a mini amusement park so of course the kids wanted to go. I didn’t ride anything. But there was one attraction ( not in the pic) that reminded me of a Disney attraction I rode as a kid, it was a pirate ship and swung forward and back and as simple as it looked, gave the thrills.
The Food
Friday night and another izakaya because of friends, SMH, I am glad most of my personal money is in crypto and doesn't get squandered. But let me just be grateful for good food and time with friends.
Below is shrimp and mayo, not something you wanna eat everyday. Each bite had a calorie packing crunch and though it was tasty, I will not eat any for the rest of the year. At least there were some tomatoes on the side right.
Huge Tuna Jaw
Imagine, in the entire izakaya, our group was one of the only two. The staff looked so bored. But the thing is, this izakaya is old school and there are no patricians that separate each party. We booked the only side room in the place away from the two open rooms. So on that note, us going there was supporting this family owned business. They presented us with the biggest tuna jaw called "Kama" in the arsenal. This is the hugest one I have seen and I can imagine the size of the tuna that this was on.
As usually in fine izakaya style, order your first drink ( in my case beer) and you get a side dish. It isn't free, it comes as a table charge. This chicken wasn't bad, but a a little more seasoning would have done it good.

As you can see I left the time stamp for one song as it is the song that really resonated with me. Not that the other songs aren't good but this has a line that mentions Prince Harry and how he left his rich life for a real life. The song by Bugle titled My Life is it for me.
